The Jackman Humanities Institute is pleased to present

The Second Annual JHI Summer Teachers' Institute

A week-long seminar for Ontario secondary school teachers on the theme of Translation and the Multiplicity of Languages.

•    University of Toronto faculty members Ruth Marshall (Political Science/Religion), Jill Ross (Medieval Studies/Comparative Literature), Willi Goetschel (German/Philosophy), Janet Poole (East Asian Studies)
•    Secondary-school teachers who share your desire to engage humanities scholarship at the U of T

•    Connect your ideas across media: from film/fiction to theory to action
•    Bring your own experiences and benefit from those of fellow participants in group work
