AA Bronson: Life and Works

The University of Toronto Art Centre presents an exhibition of past and recent works by AA Bronson, including "We are the Revolution" (2011), a series of life-size, diamond-dusted, and screen-printed protraits of Bronson in his ritual regalia, in the midst of performing a séance for queer spirits in Winnipeg. The exhibition also presents the first ever staging of "Tent of Healing" (2013) om Toronto, which will become the site of several shamanistic healing sessions performed by AA Bronson in late October 2014."Life and Work" considers the revolutionary power of queer politics, self-representation, and play as productive strategy for the survival of queer narratives and communities.
