Five-day paleography workshop on early modern Italian manuscripts

The Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies is pleased to announce

Reading Early Modern Italian Hands: a practical hands-on, five-day workshop to help students and scholars to develop the skills necessary to carry out research with early modern Italian manuscripts and rare books.

May 18-22, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day

Pratt Library room 304.

Fees:  $100 for five 2-hour classes (materials are included)

Materials covered will include literary, administrative, and legal documents from the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries in Italian and in a variety of hands.

The workshop is taught by Professor Konrad Eisenbichler, Department of Italian Studies and Victoria College program in Renaissance Studies, University of Toronto.
