Latin American Studies presents:

A Panoramic View of Mexican Corridos and Narco-Corridos

Dr. Martha Bátiz is a Mexican-Canadian writer, translator, and scholar with a specialization in Latin American theatre. She teaches Creative Writing in Spanish at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies, and Spanish language and literature as well as literary translation at Glendon College. This talk will be given in English.
