First of two Public Lectures by Dr. John Marenbon, Trinity College, Cambridge

Dr. John Marenbon of Trinity College, Cambridge, is this year's Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies and the Centre for Medieval Studies.

He will give two public lectures on the theme "The Problem of Paganism" in Alumni Hall, Room 400, 121 St. Joseph St.

The first is on October 21 (Peter Abelard and John of Salisbury) and the second on December 3 (Dante and Boccaccio).

Both lectures are at 4:00 pm.
