Life After Genocide: From Recognition to Reparation

A team of Undergraduate Students consisting of the Armenian Students Association, Jewish Studies Student Union, and the Indigenous Studies Student Union have worked together to host a panel discussion on genocide reparations and reconciliation.

The purpose of our event is to provide a platform for minority groups to raise awareness on the affects of crimes against humanity and how that has impacted their communities over time. This event will provide an educational, respectful, and supportive environment for students and community members to divulge these issues by using an interdisciplinary and comparative structure.

Please join us to promote co-existence amongst minority groups, both on and off campus, as well as connect individuals whom have shared a common grievance of genocide and massacre.

Our team has created an Eventbrite page to register for the event. Although there will be a number of seats allocated to walk-ins, registering on the Eventbrite page will allow you to save yourself a seat! This event is free and open to all.

The event will be taking place on Friday, March 24th from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Earth Science Auditorium - Room 1050 (33 Willcocks Street). We look forward to seeing you all there!
