Ed and Fran Sonshine Lecture in Holocaust Studies

Featuring: David Shneer and Jewlia Eisenberg

Part of Holocaust Education Week. Presented with the Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto

Two parts passionate music, one part stunning images, one part inspiring story, the program reveals how Jaldati, who was deported to Auschwitz, survived and moved to former East Germany. Along with her husband, Eberhard Rebling, a non-Jewish pianist and musicologist, the couple helped build the socialist phoenix rising from Nazism's ashes through music.

This event is free and open to the public. No registration required. Limited seating.
