The Graduate Centre for the Study of Drama is pleased to present:

An Honest Conversation About Playwriting
with Israeli author Motti Lerner

Motti Lerner is a celebrated Israeli playwright and screenwriter, whose charged political work has earned him national awards in the categories of one-act and full-length drama, television drama, and television feature film. In 1995 he was awarded the Prime Minister of Israel Award for his creative contributions. Boasting decades of experience as a dramaturge, director, and Artistic Director in Israeli experimental theatre, Lerner currently teaches at the Kibbutz College in Tel Aviv and has been a visiting artist throughout Europe and North America. In addition to a public reading, Lerner will participate in an “honest conversation” about the challenges and rewards of a career as a politically engaged writer across media.

Admission is Free / All are welcome
