International workshop featuring Umberto Eco

The Department of Italian Studies is proud to announce the international workshop:

Calvino ed Eco. Rhizomatic Relationships

This event is co-sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute in Toronto.

The workshop will explore the intersection between the creative works and theoretical insights of two masters of the Italian novel, Italo Calvino and Umberto Eco, with a special focus on their mutual "readership".

This event is open to the public and everyone is welcome.
