Rhinoceroses set to take over the University of Toronto Scarborough!

The production will run from March 14-17 and 21-24, 2012 at the  fully accessible Leigha Lee Browne Theatre located on the UTSC campus  at 1265 Military Trail. The show begins at 8:00pm and doors will open  at 7:30pm.

Written by playwright by Eugene Ionesco, translated by Martin Crimp,  and directed by UTSC's Amanda Lockitch, Rhinoceros features UTSC's  senior Theatre & Performance Studies Students.

The play is set in the streets of Toronto where rhinoceroses have  taken over in an effort to bring the world back to its natural state.  Berenger (Norie Nersisyan) notices that everyone around him is slowly  transforming into rhinoceroses and giving in to the 'call of the  wild', including his best friend Jean (Zachary McKendrick) and love  interest, Daisy (Renee Thurairatnam). Berenger soon becomes the last  man standing. Will he fight for humanity or follow the herd?

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students/seniors, and $8 each for  groups of 10 or more. Tickets are available online at  http://rhinoceros.eventbrite.ca or at the door.
