An afternoon of interfaith dialogue and textual study in Jewish and Muslim traditions.

'Shema and Iqra': the Jewish-Muslim Women's Text-Study Project presents:

Beginning at 'the Beginning': Muslim and Jewish Women Revisit Eve

Please join University of Toronto scholars Shari Goldberg and Nevin Reda for a stimulating afternoon of interfaith dialogue and textual study as we explore the first woman in both Jewish and Muslim traditions.

Muslim and Jewish women of all ages and religious backgrounds are welcome. No previous experience with Jewish or Islamic texts is necessary.  Light refreshments will be served. As this is an eco-friendly event, please bring your own coffee mug.

This event is free to students with photo ID and available to all others for a registration of $20.  To register online, please click HERE. Capacity is limited.
