Magical and Mythical: 200 Years of the Brothers Grimm

Maria Tatar is Professor of Germanic Languages and Literatures at Harvard University and author of many books, including Off With Their Heads!: Fairy Tales and the Culture of Childhood, and The Hard Facts of the Grimms' Fairy Tales. Her talk addresses the 200th anniversary of the publication of Grimms' Kinder-und Hausmärchen.
