Professor Luther H. Martin, Professor of Religion Emeritus, University of Vermont.

The Future of the Past: The History of Religions and Cognitive Historiography

Luther H. Martin (Ph.D, Claremont Graduate School), is a former chair of the Department of Religion at the University of Vermont. He is currently on five editorial boards for publications in the field of religion, and has served at least five more. His publications span Graeco-Roman religions, history of religion, method and theory, and religion and cognitive studies. He is the author/co-editor of 11 books, including 'Imagistic Traditions in the Graeco-Roman World,' ed. with P. Pachis. Thessaloniki: Vanias Press, 2009; and 'PastMinds: Studies in Cognitive Historiography', *ed. with J. Sørensen, London: Equinox.
