 tal archaeologist and Full Professor in the Department of History at Carle
 ton University in Ottawa, Canada. He is also the Programme Coordinator fo
 r the MA specialization in Digital Humanities. He edits the open access jo
 urnal Epoiesen: A Journal for Creative Engagement in History and Archaeolo
 gy. His current major research project, together with his collaborator Da
 mien Huffer, uses neural networks and computer vision to explore the onli
 ne trade in human remains. As part of the Computational Research in the An
 cient Near East (CRANE) Project from the University of Toronto, he is exp
 loring generative adversarial networks and archaeological photography. Wit
 h Dr. Donna Yates of the University of Maastricht, he is exploring knowle
 dge graph embedding models of the antiquities trade. For more on his resea
