Jackman Scholars-in-Residence Program @ Victoria College
Victoria College, in partnership with the Jackman Humanities Institute, announces an immersive 4-week residency in humanities and social- science research for 3rd- and 4th-year undergraduates. The program provides students with an opportunity to acquire advanced research skills and experience while collaborating with an interdisciplinary and intellectually vibrant community of peers, professors, and research professionals. Students selected for the Scholars-in-Residence Program will live in residence at Victoria College May 2-27, 2016 and work in small teams on one of four humanities and social-science projects, each led by a professor. In addition, they will take part in multidisciplinary workshops on such topics as research methodologies, standards, protocol, and professional communication. To participate in the Program, eligible students must apply by March 15 and be selected to work on one of the 2016 research projects.
