Don't miss a screening of Geographies of Solitude, an immersive ecological documentary on the Sable Islands and its watery ecologies, in the presence of director Jacquelyn Mills. Mill's film, which documents the work of naturalist Zoe Lucas, makes use of experimental practices and filmmaking processes that integrate the ecology into the film itself. This event, co-organized by James Leo Cahill and Victoria Wohl, is made possible by generous support of the Jackman Humanities Institute Program for the Arts, The Cinema Studies Institute, and the Department of Classics. Free registration.
