Description

Humanities and social sciences graduate students, are you planning to apply for a postdoctoral fellowship and wondering what you can do now to set yourself up for success in future applications? Are you curious about SSHRC’s gradual shift towards a more narrative CV format? The Jackman Humanities Institute (JHI) invites you to a workshop designed to help you prepare a competitive CV for postdoctoral applications.

This session will feature a roundtable discussion with current U of T postdoctoral fellows from across the university on how they prepared CVs that highlighted their experiences as research excellence and how their overall dossiers framed them as exciting prospective colleagues. They will also share their professional experiences working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto.

The workshop will also feature a presentation from Joel Rodgers (Coordinator, Graduate Student Professional Development, Arts & Science), who will share tips and best practices to level up your CV, along with other valuable information to support you with your next steps.

UTORid required to register.
