Are you planning to apply for a postdoctoral fellowship? Would you like to hear from some U of T postdoctoral fellows about their experiences? The Jackman Humanities Institute invites you to a workshop that is designed to help you prepare competitive postdoctoral fellowship applications.
This session will feature Taiwo Bello (Department of History), who holds a Faculty of Arts & Science postdoctoral fellowship, Daniel Jordan (Faculty of Music), who holds a SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship, and Khanh Vo, the JHI-Critical Digital Humanities Institute postdoctoral fellow. They will share tips and strategies for preparing an application that showcases their record of research excellence, presenting a compelling new research project, and finding a suitable postdoctoral supervisor. They will also share their professional experiences working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto.
The workshop will also feature Jonathan Turner (Manager, Program Completion and Postdoctoral Services, School of Graduate Studies), who will share tips and best practices for preparing postdoctoral fellowship applications, along with other valuable information to support you with your next steps.
