“Doing (Public) Histories of Medicine with Art, Non-Art, Objects, and Things”
Allison Morehead is a historian of art, the psy-sciences, and medicine with an interdisciplinary background in history, art history, museum studies, psychology and the history of medicine. Her current curatorial work on Edvard Munch invites viewers to consider gender and care work, reproductive technologies, vaccine hesitancy, homosocial medical patronage, health tourism, Scandinavian race science, and occult vegetarianism. Her workshop will involve a seminar session followed by an examination of artefacts at the ROM.
