Please join us on December 13th, 4-6 pm, at the U of T’s Sid Smith Hall 2096 for a talk by Prof. Alex Ketchum, Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies of McGill University. Dr. Ketchum will be presenting a talk based on her book, entitled: “EnCountering 50 Years of American Feminist Restaurants, Cafes, and Coffeehouses (1972-2022).”

The talk is co-sponsored by several units at the University of Toronto, including the Dept. of History; Centre for the Study of the US; Culinaria Research Centre (UTSC); WGSI; the Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies, and the Critical Digital Humanities Initiative and the LGBTQ Oral History Digital Collaboratory, as well as by The ArQuives: Canada’s LGBQT2+ Archives.
