Join us for an exciting public lecture presented by Phiroze Vasunia, Professor in the Department of Greek and Latin at University College London in the UK. Professor Vasunia’s talk will discuss how we should be studying Roman literatures, suggesting that we enrich our understanding by reading in the context of linguistic and literary diversity.

The Stubbs Lectures were founded in 1988 by Helen Eunice Stubbs, a graduate of University College, in honour of her father, Samuel James Stubbs, also a UC graduate. The lectures commemorate his love of Classics and of English Literature.
