Faculty members, are you hoping to finalize that book chapter or journal article this summer? Do you miss discussing ideas with your colleagues? The Jackman Humanities Institute invites you to join “Second Drafts Club,” a summer support program for faculty members in the humanities and qualitative social sciences who are revising a nearly complete academic writing project.
This intimate group offers dedicated time and space for participants seeking a mutually supportive environment for feedback on academic writing at the revisions stage. Participants will share their drafts and other ideas in a peer group setting facilitated by the JHI Research Officer.
The sessions will run from 11am-1pm on alternate Wednesdays: June 5, June 19, July 3 and July 17 in the JHI’s beautiful 10th Floor meeting space.
